Digital Technologies Engineering is the new three-year bachelor's programme at the University of Pisa, based in the province of Massa-Carrara at Villa Fabbricotti (Carrara). Structured over three years with a single 180-ECTS curriculum, it trains a strongly multidisciplinary engineering professional, able to design, manage and maintain digital devices and systems for information processing, communication and automation, even in complex scenarios, fostering the integration between technology and people.

Digital Technologies Engineering is the three-year bachelor's programme in Degree Class L-8 at the University of Pisa, Carrara campus, established by the Department of Information Engineering (DII). Across 180 ECTS it integrates computer science, telecommunications, electronics, electromagnetic fields and automation with robotics and bioengineering, covering topics such as artificial intelligence, wireless networks, additive manufacturing and augmented and virtual reality. The programme has a strong international dimension – most courses are taught in English – and stems from a five-year agreement with the North-West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce, the Municipalities of Massa and Carrara, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Carrara, the Eastern Ligurian Sea Port System Authority and the Fondazione Marmo.
